.htaccess password
To protect the folder with the Authentication with the help of .htaccess
follow the below steps:
create .htaccess file with below content
AuthUserFile “/home/domain/.htpasswds/passwd”
AuthType Basic
AuthName “ohm”
require valid-user
Go to root folder and open .htpasswds folder
then create a passwd file
in the below format
ohm:ogD4d24a6lf4o
encrypt your password with md5
